Cast Set and Production Has Begun for "Jamaal: Love Code" Sci-Fi TV Show, Premiering on Here TV, Prime Video, Hulu, etc. in July 2026!
The cast has officially been set for “Jamaal: Love Code” Sci-Fi TV show, premiering July 2026 on Here TV, Prime Video, Hulu, etc. Production began in late January on Season 1 of the show that’s a spin-off of the award-winning “Jamaal” short film on Here TV. “Jamaal: Love Code” is an anthology series exploring the intersection of futuristic AI innovations and Black, gay dating. Season 1 of “Jamaal: Love Code” will bring the audience four 22-minute episodes. Similarly to Black Mirror, each episode will have completely different plots that explore different nuances in the futuristic technology.
The cast includes Matthew Jennings, Greg Mathis Jr, Philip Johnson, Jermell Deshauan, Cody Dodson, Christopher Hill, Antoine Tate, Casey Daley, J’Lamar Nichols, Michael Flood, Tiaramy Maloy, Twon Marcel Pope, John Knight, Jataun Gilbert, Rhonda Ray, Lamar Robinson, Taariq Muhammad, Kevyn Fong, Andresito Germosén De La Cruz & more. Production is currently underway!
The series was created by Philip Johnson, who also serves as Showrunner. Here TV, David Milbern and Philip Johnson are Executive Producers for the project, alongside Producers Kevin Bobby, Sophia McPherson, J’Lamar Nichols and Terry Bledsoe. The four episodes were written by Philip Johnson, Kevyn Fong and Taariq Muhammad.
"Jamaal: Love Code" will premiere on Here TV in July 2026. The show will be available to watch on Here TV’s app as well as over a dozen cable providers including Hulu, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Xfinity, and more!
