Philaye Films 90's Short Film "Amy & Neil" Sets Cast and Filming Dates!

With “It’s in You” horror film currently in post-production, Philaye Films is gearing up for production on its next short film: “Amy & Neil”! “Amy & Neil” is about a Black couple in the 90’s comedically battling gender roles on a date night! This 90’s-set film, created by Twon Marcel Pope and DeLane McDuffie, is set to go into production in April 2023.

Philip Johnson is Executive Producing the film starring Twon Marcel Pope and Atika Greene and written by Delane McDuffie. Pope will also direct the film, with cinematography led by Robert Graves. Daters of all genders and decades will be able to resonate with Amy and Neil’s lover quarrels in this nostalgic peek into their relationship.
